Technical Support in Payment Software

We're looking for Payments Application Specialist [x2] to join our growing team at HELM (www.helm.ceo)! You'll be working with our client in the software industry, in a remote capacity.
In this role, you will be responsible for new payment customers that have completed the sales process and need to implement their new payment software and hardware, assisting the customers through the application process that verifies key elements of the merchant.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for new payment customers during the onboarding application process.
Consult on the requirements needed to verify the customer, the business, and their bank account which may entail submitting documentation, checking for application errors, and working with internal teams to drive approvals.
Making outbound calls to engage customers.
Fielding inbound calls for customers who are logged in looking for help.
Leveraging SMS and Email to keep customers engaged.
Act as liaison to third-party partners to facilitate application approvals.
Ability to set up and troubleshoot hardware during the onboarding process.
Collaborate with other teams within the company to improve the customer experience and identify areas for process improvements.
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies related to payment processing, and share insights and recommendations with the broader team.
Help create and maintain onboarding materials and resources for new customers.
Requirements:
Experience in a proactive, outbound engagement environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Sense of urgency, attitude and hunger for problem-solving.
Ability and eagerness to genuinely help clients.
Ability to handle a diverse workload in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent time management skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
Punctual and dependable.
Location: Remote (contractor basis)
Weekly Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday to Friday), 8 hours per day [within EST/MST]
Pay Range: USD $10 to $14
