Software Quality Assurance

Role
As part of our Implementation and Technology Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all functionality improvement and releases are thoroughly tested and verified prior to release. You will have an enthusiastic proactive attitude and display a dynamic work ethic to ensure all levels of responsibilities are delivered to company needs and timescales.
Responsibilities
• Be responsible for testing (Regression and UAT), validating and verifying that platforms are fit for purpose at all times
• Contribute to the current Testing process (Regression and UAT)
• Follow and pro-actively inspect processes and standards and provide recommendations for improvement
• Be responsible for reviewing and approving requirements; the creation and execution of test cases; and accurately reporting test status updates.
• Identification of automation opportunities and creation of automated test suite for SaaS products.
• Work with Development Analysts to resolve issues identified through the testing process.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in Software Testing and apply industry standards and industry best practices
Skills Required
• Building credible, trusted advisor relationships with key client and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, across multiple locations and function
• Experience of working with Financial Institutions, their structure and language
• Experience in setting up and using automated testing programs (e.g Selenium or equivalent)
• Drive or manage system integration, user acceptance or performance testing
• Flexibility with a can-do attitude as you will be operating in a start-up environment
• A positive client, team and solution-orientated attitude
• Attention to detail with risk averse nature
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
• University level education or equivalent relevant experience in a software testing role.
• Whilst not essential, experience within a change management environment (e.g. PMP, Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall) would be an advantage.
