Software QA Engineer

Requirements:
• Experienced with code testing for frontend and backend code bases
• Experienced in the QA testing role
• Worked with code testing automation frameworks like Mocha, Selenium, SoapUI
• Experience working together with offshore software developers

Responsibilities:
• Working with software development team for Financial Technology Platform
• Analysing testing requirements for backend API and frontend UI
• Creating and reviewing test plan and test cases for software development projects
• Managing testing processes for Agile development workflow
• Liaise regarding UAT sign off on testing builds
• Meeting with the development team to discuss testing plans and development
• Working with DevOps on best testing practices and standards
• Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Work experience in building financial applications
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Flexible team player
