QA Role for Social Media App
Budget: $300 – $600 USD
I am looking for an experienced individual (no agencies) to work closely with my developer as a Quality Assurance (QA) specialist for our upcoming social media app. This is not a development role, but technical skills are essential to understand the project, identify issues, and ensure high quality. The project will be completed in phases within a 45-50 day timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Testing: Perform manual and automated QA testing for iOS and Android, ensuring compatibility across devices, platforms, and network conditions.
- API Review:Test and validate APIs for functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Backend QA:Identify inefficiencies and bugs in backend code written in **NodeJS** and PostgreSQL.
- AWS Oversight:Review and test AWS infrastructure to ensure scalability and performance.
- Collaboration: Work with the developer to resolve bugs and implement fixes.
- Reporting: Provide clear and regular updates on issues, solutions, and overall progress.
Requirements
- Experience: Strong QA experience with mobile apps, including social media or entertainment platforms, is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Backend:** Proficiency in NodeJS and **PostgreSQL.
- Frontend: Familiarity with Flutter.
- Cloud: Experience with **AWS services**.
- API Testing: Demonstrated ability to review and test APIs.
- Communication: Fluent in English for effective collaboration.
- Variety of Projects: Experience working on projects of varying complexity.
- Mobile Principles: Solid understanding of mobile app development, UI/UX, and platform-specific behaviors.
