Ongoing Manual QA Tester Needed

Job ID: 40426885

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

Title: Manual QA Tester for Voice-AI SaaS Portal (Ongoing, ~10–15 hrs/week)

Project:
We're building a multi-tenant operator console for a voice-AI agency platform (think: dashboard where small businesses get an AI receptionist that answers
their phone, books appointments, and answers questions from a knowledge base). New features ship weekly via AI-assisted development. We need a careful,
detail-oriented QA tester to validate every release before it touches real customers.

What you'll do:
- Work through written test plans for each release (sprint cadence, ~weekly)
- Exercise the operator portal end-to-end: agent CRUD, bulk CSV deploys, knowledge-base enrichment, customer-facing booking pages, cost dashboards,
role-based access controls
- Place real test phone calls to AI agents on US numbers we provide; validate that voice flows, DTMF routing, and call transfers behave correctly
- Verify that listed features actually work — not just "page loads" but "the booking confirmation email arrives", "the agent's prompt updates after a
save", "an archived agent can no longer take calls"
- Find regressions: confirm previously-shipped features still work after each new sprint
- Write bug reports with clear repro steps (URL, role, exact inputs, expected vs actual, screenshots/screen recordings, browser console errors when
relevant)
- Track findings in a shared sheet or our issue tracker

Required:
- 2+ years of manual QA experience on web applications
- Strong written English (your bug reports will be read by US-based engineers)
- Comfortable with Chrome DevTools (Network tab, Console, copy-as-cURL)
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls to US numbers (we'll cover any call costs; calls are short)
- Discipline to follow a test plan AND do exploratory testing on the side
- Reliable internet + quiet environment for phone-call testing
- Available for ~10–15 hrs/week with overlap into US Eastern business hours at least 2–3 hrs/day

Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Next.js / Vercel apps
- Postman or basic API testing
- Playwright / Cypress / any browser-automation tool
- Prior testing of multi-tenant SaaS or voice/telephony products
- Familiarity with Vapi, Twilio, LiveKit, or similar voice AI tooling

Trial task:
First engagement is a paid 2-hour trial: walk through one existing feature with a checklist we provide, file 3–5 bug reports (real or seeded). Continue if
the work is clear and reproducible.

Rate: $8–$12/hr depending on experience. Trial paid at full rate.

Apply with:
1. A sample bug report you've written (redacted is fine)
2. One sentence on a tricky bug you caught that another tester missed
3. Confirmation that you can make outbound test calls to US numbers
4. Your time-zone overlap with US Eastern
