ob Summary:
We are looking for mid level Test Automation Engineer to build automation test suites for REST based
APIs and user interfaces of clients and internal products. Candidate will be responsible for building
reusable test frameworks and applying it to specific projects and help our clients’ maintain the quality and
reliability of their applications. Candidate will be working alongside business analysts, developers working on
different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving,
sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
By joining our team, Candidate will take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and
implementing software testing processes. You will take ownership of code quality through exploratory and
automated tests. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with.
Key Qualifications
1. Good grasp on Java as a language and knowledge of its quirks
2. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
3. Experience with API automation testing using Postman
4. Experience with UI automation testing using Selenium
5. Experience with working closely with developers to automate software tests using Cucumber
6. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs standards
7. Experience writing unit tests along with mocking
8. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or anything similar.
9. Familiarity with AWS and its core services
10. Strong understanding of databases
Job Role
1. Interface with key personnel and team to review and analyze requirements, specifications,
and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
2. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
3. Prioritize and plan testing activities
4. Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
5. Identify and report issues found with clear steps, then verify that issues are resolved
6. Develop automation tests using modern testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, Cucumber
7. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
8. Provide daily status to the stakeholders.
