Role Overview:
We are looking for a freelance QA Specialist to work remotely on a flexible, project-by-project basis. In this role, you will ensure our web projects meet the highest quality standards by performing comprehensive testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to enhance performance and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing for websites and web applications.
✅ Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and inconsistencies in a structured manner.
✅ Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
✅ Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure responsiveness.
✅ Verify that websites adhere to SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
✅ Conduct regression testing after updates or fixes to ensure smooth functionality.
✅ Work closely with the Penovate team to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.
Essential Skills & Tools Proficiency:
? Experience with manual and automated testing methods.
? Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
? Knowledge of bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
? Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they impact website performance.
? Experience testing on various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
? Basic knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
? Experience with performance testing and website speed optimization is beneficial.
