Job Description – QA Automation Lead (Contractual Position)
Company profile: Cresen Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is the fully owned subsidiary of Cresen Solutions with its operations out of India. The parent company Cresen Solutions is located out of USA, and specializes in the Life Sciences vertical providing products, solutions and services for Global Compliance, Transparency Data Capture and Monitoring/Reporting. We also offer solutions in Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Business Intelligence.
Location: Satellite office - Hyderabad, India (Currently - WFH)
All interviewing and on-boarding will be done virtually due to COVID-19. This position can work from anywhere in India/ work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement test automation strategies and best practices to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Mentor the automation testing team
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks which includes developing and maintaining automation scripts, updating the test scripts, monitoring the framework's performance, and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensure that the automation framework is scalable and maintainable over time.
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the DEV and QA teams to ensure smooth integration of test automation into the software development lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in test automation and incorporate them into the test automation strategy.
• Managing the test data that is used for automation testing. This involves ensuring the integrity of the data, selecting the appropriate test data for testing scenarios, and developing test data generation strategies.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks in Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Contract Period: 4-5 months
