Position - QA Automation
Shift- 2pm -11pm IST
Full - Time
6 months Contract Duration
The role as a QA Lead Automation Engineer ensures that testing processes and procedures are followed correctly throughout our sprint cycles.
This includes in-sprint ticket automation completion, defect management and bug reporting and tracking.
Should have at-least 8-10 years of overall experience in testing and have managed a team of 5-10 members
Experienced in defining test strategy & test plans for implementation of backend and frontend application features.
Hands-on experience in manual API and UI testing and writing cypress automation scripts and delivering sprint completion as a test lead
Qualifications:
• 8-10 years QA experience is required, 4-5 yead of QA lead experience is required.
• Ability to learn quickly to hit the ground running as early as joining
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes
• Problem solving and quick rational thinking.
• Accountability and a sense of urgency as there is a 24-hour SLA for any tickets moved to Testing.
• Positive attitude, collaborator, and professional team player.
• Experience in github actions is a must.
• Experience with Agile methodology is required
• Experience With Jira Xray Is Preferred
Skills Required:
• Technical Skills – cypress, cucumber, github for both UI and API testing
• Analytical skills – Analytically examine sprint tickets, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through manual/automated testing processes.
• Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems
• Communication skills – clear written and verbal communication is essential to collaborate with the engineering team effectively and create testing plans and scenarios
Tools:
• Automation testing tools: Cypress, cucumber.
• API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create tests: REST Assured, Swagger, jMeter.
• Continuous Integration tools – Github, Jenkins, Bit bucket.
• JIRA – Defect tracking and task creation tool
