Android Apps QA Tester Needed (In-office Bejing, China only)
Budget: $16 – $20 USD
Applause is looking for an Android Apps QA Tester to work directly with a global technology client's QA team based in China. This will require bilingual fluency in Chinese and English. This role will focus on the digital car key app and related feature testing on automobiles in the lab.
Basic terms:
- Title: QA Tester
- Start Date: ASAP
- Capacity: 30 to 40 hours per week local standard business hours, Monday-Friday with as needed meetings with the US-based team

- Language: Chinese, English bilingual
- Payment: $16 to $20 USD per hour based on relevant experience, skills, education, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans and test cases;
- Identify and document defects, issues, and risks during the testing process.
- Perform regression testing for all the launched features;
- Test benches maintenance. The QA tester will be a frequent user of the test benches, thus needs to learn how to use and debug on the test benches, and is responsible for communicating with the bench providers to fix issues;
- Support the Android Engineering team based in the US to perform ad-hoc testing on devices from our phone OEM partners in China, e.g. Oppe, Xiaomi, etc.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Beijing, China
- Must be able to write and speak in English
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to go to the client's Beijing office to perform testing
- 2+ years experience of QA testing for Android applications
