Quality Assurance Testing Assistance

Job ID: 40550036

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need an experienced tester to run a focused quality-assurance pass on my in-development software. The build is stable enough for deep exploration, yet it has never been through a formal QA cycle. Your job is to design and execute a test plan, spot defects, and document them clearly so my dev team can reproduce and fix every issue without back-and-forth.

Scope
• Draft a concise test strategy that covers critical user flows and edge cases.
• Execute the tests, noting each step that triggers a failure or unexpected behaviour.
• Capture evidence—screenshots, logs, or short screen recordings—for every defect.
• Prioritise findings (critical, major, minor) and recommend fixes or next actions.

Deliverables
1. Test plan (PDF or shared doc) before execution.
2. Defect log in spreadsheet format with reproducible steps, severity, and environment details.
3. Final summary report outlining overall product quality and readiness.

Acceptance Criteria
• All defects clearly reproducible from the steps you provide.
• No vague descriptions like “sometimes breaks”; each issue must include concrete triggers.
• Reports delivered in agreed templates and within the set timeline.

You may use whichever professional tools you prefer—Selenium, Postman, BrowserStack, JIRA, or native OS utilities—as long as the output remains consistent and portable. I’m flexible on methods; results and clarity matter most. Let me know your proposed timeline and any questions about the build, and we can get started right away.
