Manual Web App Functional Testing
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a around 20-page web application that now needs a round of thorough manual functional testing before release. No test suite exists yet, so the first step is to design clear, comprehensive test cases for every user flow.
The areas I want you to hit first are:
• user authentication (sign-up, login, password reset)
• all form submissions across the site
• the search feature and its results handling
Once the test cases are agreed, execute them page-by-page, log every defect with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, screenshots or video, and a severity rating. A lightweight spreadsheet is fine for the test case matrix, and bugs can be recorded in Jira or the same sheet—whatever keeps the feedback traceable.
Deliverables
1. Test plan outlining scope, approach, and timeline
2. Full set of functional test cases covering the 20 pages
3. Executed test results and pass/fail status
4. Defect log with evidence and prioritization
5. One round of confirmation testing after fixes
Everything is manual; no automation is required at this stage. If this first cycle goes smoothly I’m happy to discuss follow-on testing and long term association.
