Manual Test E-commerce Filters
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I want a skilled manual QA to put the product search and filtering flows of my e-commerce website through their paces. The job is entirely web-based; no mobile or desktop builds are involved.
Your mission is to explore every way a shopper might look for an item—simple queries, multi-word phrases, misspellings, price and attribute filters used alone or in combination—and confirm that the site returns the right products, respects sort orders, and never breaks the user experience. Edge-case behaviour, UI consistency, and any performance hiccups you uncover matter just as much as outright functional bugs.
Please document issues clearly with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, screenshots or video when helpful, and a severity rating so I can triage quickly. A short summary of overall search/filter health at the end will round out the engagement.
Deliverables
• Test plan or checklist outlining the scenarios you covered
• Defect log in a shareable format (Excel, Google Sheet, or similar)
• Final summary report highlighting key findings and recommendations
That’s all the scope for now—if things go well we can expand into checkout or account flows later.
