Manual Functional Testing – Windows

Job ID: 40303177

Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR

I need a meticulous manual tester to run full functional testing on my Windows-based desktop application. The build is stable but hasn’t yet been exercised outside the development team, so I’m looking for someone who can approach it with a fresh set of eyes, follow typical user flows, and uncover anything that could block a smooth release.

You will install the latest installer on your own Windows machine, explore every feature, and record all behaviours that deviate from the expected results. Clear, reproducible steps and supporting screenshots or short screen recordings are vital so my developers can fix issues quickly. I’m particularly interested in edge-case scenarios—unexpected inputs, window resizing, simultaneous actions—that automated scripts may miss.

Deliverables
• A concise test plan outlining the scenarios you intend to cover before you begin
• Executed test cases with pass/fail status and notes
• A structured bug report (CSV, XLSX, or Jira ticket export) including severity, reproducibility steps, and environment details
• A short summary of overall app stability and any high-risk areas you detected

I’ll provide the installer, a feature overview, and the expected behaviour document as soon as we agree to start. Let me know your approximate turnaround time for the first testing cycle and any prior experience you have with similar Windows desktop projects.
