I need a fresh set of eyes on the shopping-cart and checkout flow of my web-based store. Your task is to run thorough, manual tests that mirror real-world buyer behaviour, spot anything that could interrupt a sale, and document every finding clearly.
You will work directly in the live environment, exploring each step from adding items to the cart through payment confirmation. Please cover edge-cases such as quantity updates, promo codes, guest versus logged-in purchases, different browsers, and mobile-responsive views. I’m particularly interested in any usability snags, validation lapses, or inconsistent messages that might erode trust at the final click.
Deliverables
• A concise test plan outlining the scenarios you executed
• A defect log with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, screenshots or recordings, and severity ratings
• A brief summary of overall checkout health and quick-win recommendations
All findings should be reproducible and ready for my dev team to action. If you have experience with tools like JIRA or Trello for ticketing, mention it so we can sync smoothly.
