We service-based web application is approaching release and needs a complete quality-assurance sweep—both manual exploration and reliable automated regression coverage across all major desktop and mobile browsers.
Here’s what the work involves: designing test scenarios from existing requirements, executing them manually, then translating the high-value ones into repeatable automation (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright—whichever fits best). Functional, usability, cross-browser and light performance checks all matter; security smoke tests are a welcome bonus if you’re comfortable adding them.
The engagement feels straightforward, so I’ve broken the deliverables out clearly:
• Test plan and checklist before execution
• Logged defects with reproduction steps, screenshots or video, and severity tags
• Automation scripts stored in Git with a short read-me on how to run them
• Final summary report that highlights coverage, open issues, and next actions
Everything is remote; I’ll provide staging credentials, API docs, and a Slack channel for quick questions. Clear, actionable feedback and clean, maintainable code are the main success criteria.
