I have a newly developed AI-powered document and identity verification platform that is ready for functional testing. The core focus of this testing will be validating the end-to-end workflow, including document upload, user authentication , data extraction, verification processes, and secure document retrieval.
Users will be interacting with the system by uploading documents, completing identity verification steps, accessing restricted environments, and retrieving verified outputs. Your role is to design realistic test scenarios that reflect real-world use cases (e.g., visa applicants, students, compliance officers), execute them thoroughly, and ensure that each workflow behaves as expected.
You will need to validate that:
Documents are uploaded and processed correctly
Identity verification functions accurately
Data is securely stored and retrieved
System outputs match expected verification results
End-to-end flows (upload → verification → access → retrieval) work seamlessly
This engagement is strictly focused on functional testing, so performance and security testing are not required at this stage. Access to the staging environment, user stories, and acceptance criteria will be provided.
Deliverables
• A clear and structured test plan covering all key workflows
• Executed test cases with evidence (screenshots or short recordings)
• A detailed defect log with reproduction steps, severity, and impact
• A summary report outlining system reliability, gaps, and recommendations
