# Selenium Automation Testing Project

## Project Overview

The current Selenium test scripts are complete. However, with the release of new features, the test coverage must be expanded to include these functionalities. The goal is to ensure that all features, including adding, editing, deleting tags, viewing field history, uploading files, and other interactions, work flawlessly across various environments, including Docker.

## Personal Information Required for the Interview

## Objective

The current Selenium test scripts are fully functional. However, the test scope must now be extended to cover the newly added features. Specifically, the features for tag management (add/delete), file upload, and field history viewing need to be automated in the updated script.

## Task

### Task 1: Update Existing Selenium Scripts for New Functionalities

- Expand the test coverage to ensure the newly added features are included. The features related to tag management, file upload, and field history viewing need to be automated in the updated scripts.

### Task 2: Implement Automation for Adding and Deleting Tags

- Automate the following methods:
- **Method 1: Adding Tags:** Automate the interaction of clicking the "+" icon, selecting tags, and confirming the selection.
- **Method 2: Deleting Tags:** Automate the deletion of tags using the "x" icon.

### Task 3: Automate User Actions for Field Editing

- **Edit Data:** Implement automation to simulate user actions for editing data fields, entering text, and clicking the confirmation icon.

### Task 4: View Field History Automation

- Simulate hovering over the field and clicking the history icon to check field history, ensuring that the action works as expected in all browsers.

### Task 5: File Upload Testing

- Automate the file upload functionality by selecting a file and verifying that it uploads successfully.

### Task 6: Responsive Web Design (RWD) Testing

- Perform automated RWD testing to ensure that all elements work correctly on different screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, and mobile).

### Task 7: Robust Error Handling and Reporting

- Ensure error handling is in place for failed tests, generating clear reports on issues like missing elements, test case failures, or UI malfunctions.

### Task 8: Cross-browser and Cross-environment Compatibility

- Ensure the automation tests run successfully in local environments and Docker, as well as across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

## Acceptance Criteria

- All automated scripts must pass in both local and Docker environments.
- Ensure full coverage of all key functionalities (tags, field editing, file upload, field history, etc.), including new features.
- Provide documentation detailing how to run the scripts in both local and Docker environments.
- Include thorough testing for RWD (Responsive Web Design).

## Deadline

- **Completion Time:** The project must be completed within 3 days.
- **Fixed Rate:** USD 120 for the entire project.
