Electronics Test Engineer – System Validation & Automation Needed

Job ID: 39613168

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Test Engineer to own and execute system-level testing and validation for industrial automation assemblies involving sensors, IO-Link modules, pneumatic actuators, and barcode systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and Python for test automation and data logging.

This role involves working with schematic diagrams, developing and running automated tests, verifying IO and communication integrity, and maintaining structured documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain functional and end-of-line (EOL) tests for assemblies with barcode scanners, crash sensors, over-height sensors, and solenoid-operated pneumatic lines.
• Design and automate test sequences using LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and Python scripts for DAQ systems and IO-Link-based devices.
• Analyze and update block diagrams, test setups, and visual schematics as part of documentation improvement and peer review processes.
• Interface with Ethernet networks, IFM and Turck IO-Link Masters, DAQ tools, solenoids, air relays, and barcode readers to verify operational readiness and pass/fail logic.
• Perform ping and network communication tests, and validate sensor responses, power delivery, and data acquisition accuracy.
• Address reviewer feedback by updating images, ensuring consistency in formatting, clear labeling of diagrams, and traceability of test steps.
• Maintain thorough test records including screenshots, DAQ logs, serial number captures, and voltage verifications.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in electronic hardware/system validation or test automation.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and scripting using Python.
• Strong understanding of sensor communication protocols, including IO-Link and Ethernet-based devices.
• Hands-on experience with DAQ tools, flow sensors, pneumatic solenoids, and test automation.
• Ability to interpret and modify block diagrams and system schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to write structured test procedures.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience testing factory automation systems or industrial electronics.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, crash/over-height sensors, relay logic, and regulated air systems.
• Knowledge of structured documentation processes and version-controlled engineering workflows
