QA Automation - Make it Happen

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join an agile development development team for an innovative platform, following the best modern practices. The project is starting from scratch and any of your proposals and improvements will be taken into account from the beginning. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their functionalities and performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, work with containers, collaborate with the software design team, sketch out ideas for automated software test procedures, write automation scripts, troubleshoot automation software, Identify quality issues, and create test reports.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Determining the structure and design of web pages.
2. Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
3. Developing features to enhance the user experience.
4. Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
5. Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
6. Building reusable code for future use.
7. Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
8. Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
9. Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

Requirements:
1. Understanding of QA processes, approaches, methodologies, and software development lifecycle, and ability to apply the knowledge to daily operation
2. Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, test plans, test reports)
3. Experience with software testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, User Acceptance Testing)
4. Experience with testing APIs and Back-End Services
5. Experience with Performance/Load testing and measurements of application performance 6. Familiar with CI/CD and source control systems such as Git/GitHub/GitLab
7. Knowledge of the Agile Scrum process and how it pertains to the QA life cycle

Hard skills

- Reading written documentation and diagrams - Working with monorepos
