Citrix VDS-to-OCI Migration
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m preparing to move our Citrix Virtual Desktop Service farm into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and need someone who has already lived through this journey. The initial scope is clear-cut: shift the farm’s applications and data to OCI while leaving user profiles untouched for the moment.
You’ll help me lay out the landing zone, size and place the VDAs, map storage, design networking, and script the cut-over so production impact stays near zero. Experience with Citrix Cloud, Machine Creation Services, OCI Compute, native load balancing, and automation tools such as Terraform or PowerShell will be essential, because I’d like the build to be repeatable rather than one-off.
Deliverables
• A migration runbook that covers discovery, build, validation, and rollback
• OCI architecture diagram and resource list tailored to the Citrix workload
• Tested scripts or templates that deploy the environment and move the applications and data
• Post-migration test results confirming performance and data integrity
• A hand-over session so my team can operate the new stack confidently
