Azure DevOps Terraform Engineer Needed
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
Our cloud estate runs entirely on Azure and it is time to formalise everything— from resource provisioning to application deployment— into one reproducible, automated workflow. The stack already revolves around Terraform for infrastructure, Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD, Docker for container images and AKS for orchestration, with a healthy dose of PowerShell to glue it all together.
I need someone who can take ownership of this end-to-end automation journey, drawing on solid real-world experience (about seven years or more) with these exact tools. You will refine or rebuild our Terraform modules, wire them into secure, approval-based ADO pipelines, and make sure container builds flow cleanly into Kubernetes releases.
Deliverables
• Production-ready, modular Terraform code for core Azure services (AKS, VNets, Key Vault, ACR, etc.)
• Azure DevOps YAML pipelines that cover validate/plan/apply stages, gated approvals and rollback logic
• Docker build and push steps integrated into the same pipeline, culminating in automated AKS deployments
• PowerShell helper scripts for bootstrap tasks and environment health checks
• Clear, concise documentation so the team can maintain and extend the solution on their own
Code must be idempotent, follow best-practice naming and tagging conventions, and store all state securely (remote backend in Azure). I will provide existing repos and access to our subscriptions so you can start with a quick audit, propose improvements and then deliver the working automation.
