AWS Regulatory Finance Cloud Platform
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
A national financial authority has tasked me with modernising its core systems into a single, cloud-native platform on AWS. The solution must deliver three capabilities from day one:
• Risk management workflows that ingest market and transactional feeds, run scoring models, and surface alerts in near real time.
• Automated regulatory-compliance reporting that maps directly to the authority’s rule-books and can be scheduled or triggered on demand.
• A robust data-analytics layer powered by an AWS-native warehouse (Amazon Redshift preferred) to let internal analysts query years of historical data alongside fresh streaming inputs.
You will shape the end-to-end architecture, provision the environment, and hand over production-ready code and artefacts. Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or AWS CDK), container orchestration (EKS or Fargate), and a secure CI/CD pipeline should be part of the deliverable, together with clear documentation that lets the authority’s technical team operate and extend the platform without vendor lock-in.
Acceptance criteria
1. Deployed AWS account(s) with least-privilege IAM, VPC, and logging baselines in place.
2. Redshift cluster (or RA3 serverless option) seeded with sample regulatory datasets and query examples.
3. Microservice skeletons for risk engines and compliance reporters, each with automated build, test, and deploy steps.
4. A walkthrough document and architecture diagram that map every component to the three business capabilities above.
