AWS EC2 & RDS Deployment

I need my dynamic web application deployed on AWS using EC2 as the compute layer and an RDS instance for the relational data store. The codebase is ready; what’s missing is a clean, production-grade cloud setup that can scale and be easily maintained.

Here’s what I expect from the engagement:
• Launch and configure one or more EC2 instances (Amazon Linux 2 preferred) with security groups, auto-restart policies, and HTTPS via ACM/ALB or Nginx/Let’s Encrypt—whichever fits fastest.
• Provision an RDS database (PostgreSQL unless you see a strong reason to suggest MySQL), apply best-practice security, subnet placement, automated backups, and parameter tuning.
• Wire the application to the database, set environment variables securely, and confirm end-to-end connectivity.
• Provide a brief walkthrough (screenshare or concise doc) so I can replicate common tasks like rolling updates and snapshot restores.

Please stick to native AWS services and CloudFormation or Terraform if you normally automate; a simple console setup is fine too as long as every step is documented. Continuous deployment hooks (GitHub Actions or CodePipeline) would be a welcome bonus but aren’t mandatory for the initial hand-off.

Once the app is live under its domain and passing a basic load test, I’ll consider the project complete.
