AWS Infrastructure Setup & Optimization

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I need a clean, well-architected AWS environment built around three core services: EC2, S3, and RDS.

Deliverables
• EC2: create launch templates, an Auto Scaling group, and an Elastic Load Balancer so the fleet grows or shrinks automatically and traffic is distributed smoothly.
• S3: provision buckets with versioning turned on and lifecycle policies that move older objects to infrequent access or Glacier, keeping storage bills predictable while safeguarding data.
• RDS: deploy the chosen engine in a Multi-AZ configuration, enable automated backups, and verify failover so the database remains available during an outage.

Acceptance will be based on:
– Infrastructure running in my account, not a demo.
– CloudWatch metrics confirming scaling events, bucket transitions, and RDS replication health.
– A short hand-off document (or comments in the IaC templates, if you prefer) explaining how to adjust scaling thresholds, lifecycle rules, and backup windows.

Everything should follow AWS best practices for security, tagging, and least privilege. If you prefer Terraform, CloudFormation, or the console with screenshots, let me know in your proposal so we can align on tooling from the start.
