AWS DevOps Automation Project

I need an experienced DevOps engineer to streamline my AWS infrastructure. The immediate priorities are automating all deployment processes, standing up a clean CI/CD pipeline, and wiring in robust monitoring with alerting.

The stack lives entirely in AWS, so familiarity with its core services—EC2, ECS or EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and related networking components—is essential. Terraform is the infrastructure-as-code tool of choice; everything must be defined, version-controlled, and repeatable in Git.

Deliverables
• Terraform code that provisions the complete environment from scratch
• A CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions or similar) that builds, tests, and promotes to staging and production automatically
• Monitoring dashboards and alert rules in CloudWatch (or equivalent AWS-native tooling) covering uptime, latency, error rates, and capacity metrics
• Clear README or runbook explaining how to operate and extend the setup

Acceptance criteria
• Running terraform apply in a clean account reproduces the full stack without manual tweaks
• A single commit to the main branch triggers the pipeline and ships an artifact through to production with zero downtime
• Alerts fire on threshold breaches and route to email or Slack with meaningful context
