Callers needed for just one telephone calling session
Budget: $10 – $11 USD
Hello.
I am looking for a few people to help me win a competition that I entered.
All you need to do is:
1. Attend a half-hour training on June 20 at 12:30 PM Pacific time (Los Angeles, USA time) via Zoom
(June 20 at 12:30 PM Pacific time (Los Angeles, USA time) is June 21 at 3:30 AM Manila time.)
2. Make a phone call on June 20 at 1:00 PM Pacific time, following the training (technically, you will need to call the same phone number over and over again until you or one of the other people on our calling team gets through to the operator. Read about why this is below…)
(June 20 at 1:00 PM Pacific time (Los Angeles, USA time) is June 21 at 4:00 AM Manila time.)
When you make the phone call you will be competing (as a team with other people I am hiring for this job) against other callers that are trying to win the competition that I entered. It will be kind of like calling into a radio station to win a prize, where the first caller to get through to the radio station wins the prize. So, you will need to call over and over again until you get through (or until someone calling on my behalf gets through).
The company holding the competition does allow for people trying to win the competition to have people call on their behalf, which is why I am posting this gig here on freelancer.
Requirements:
For this gig you will need a computer with Zoom, a microphone and a webcam, and a way to make phone calls from a United States phone number to a United States phone number.
You will also need basic English skills because the training will be in English, and if you are the caller to get through to the company, you will need to give some information to the company in English. That information will provided at the training.
The reason you will need a computer with Zoom, a microphone and a webcam, is because the training will be over Zoom, and we will need to be able to see each other and hear each other while we are dialing the company. That way once someone gets through, that person will be able to signal to everyone else to stop dialing.
You will be asked to answer the following questions after submitting a proposal:
1. Can you be available on June 20 from 12:30 PM Pacific time to 1:30 PM Pacific time (Los Angeles time)?
2. Do you have a United States phone number? And if so, how do you have a United States phone number (for example, if you aren't in the United States yourself, are you using a service such as RingCentral with a United States phone number?)
3. If you have a United States phone number, what area code does your United States phone number have?
4. Do you have a computer with Zoom, a microphone and a webcam?
5. How strong is your English reading and comprehension level, and how have you learned English?
Thank you.
