Sales Representative - Cold Calling Specialist
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
NOTE: If hired, you will be paid and analyzed on a week-to-week basis before we decide to commit to you long-term. Please only apply if you are confident in helping us drive sales.
We are a local junk removal company looking for a Sales Representative with experience in cold calling. As our Sales Representative, you will be responsible for calling companies within our target audience that may have a strong demand for our junk removal services. You will be expected to create your own call list filled with potential customers and complete 175 weekly calls, at a pace of 35 calls per day, between the hours of 12:00 PM EST and 5:00 pm EST. In addition, you will be responsible for researching the web and creating your own call list that is filled with potential customers to call in our local target audience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Research the web and create your own call list that is filled with potential customers to call in our local target audience (Greater Boston Area Region in the United States of America)
- Call companies on our behalf, within our target audience, that may have a strong demand to hire a junk removal service
- Complete 175 weekly calls, at a pace of 35 calls per day
- Only calling between 12:00PM EST and 5:00PM EST
- Appointment setting with a call back.
- Track call statistics via spreadsheet (statistics such as no answers, not interested, some interest, strong interest)
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, with a focus on cold calling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the quality of our calls, and your tone are very important.
- Engaging personality that makes the potential customer focused on the call
- Excellent research and lead generation ability
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly call quotas
- Experience with tracking call statistics using spreadsheets or other tools
- Proficient in Excel or related digital tools
- Knowledge of junk removal or related services is a plus, but not required
