We are seeking experienced freelance telecom tower maintenance technicians to perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of telecom towers and associated infrastructure. This project involves ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and compliance of tower assets at multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of telecom towers, antennas, and equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tower-related issues including structural, electrical, and mechanical faults.
Perform installation, replacement, and alignment of antennas and radio equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory norms during all maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, documentation, and service logs.
Coordinate with site managers, telecom operators, and vendors for smooth maintenance operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in telecom tower maintenance, preferably with companies like Indus Towers or equivalent.
Knowledge of telecom tower structures, RF equipment, and power systems.
Skilled in working at heights following industry safety protocols.
Ability to handle mechanical tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
Familiarity with antenna alignment, structural inspection, and tower rigging.
Certified in safety training and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for tower work.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for coordination and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, or related fields.
Basic understanding of telecom RF principles and networking equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a field service team.
