Hello, this project is to implement a simulation program using MATLAB. It begin with resolving the effective refractive index of the LP01 core mode and different cladding modes, followed by calculating the mode electric and magnetic fields to determine the strength of coupling for core mode as well as between core mode and different cladding modes. Need to implement uniform and non-uniform FBG with and without apodization. Need to show the time group delay and dispersion on each FBG simulation. More information will be discussed.
