Install Dedicated 20-Amp Outlet
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m needing to add a single 20-amp receptacle on a dedicated circuit in one of my rooms. The outlet needs to sit in the center of the wall near the floor and will need to be clean power.
The job will likely involve running new 12/2-gauge cable, installing the receptacle box and outlet, and labeling a new breaker. Once everything is in place, I’d like you to test the circuit under load to confirm it holds a steady 20 A without voltage drop or noise.
-house is single story
-Attic space is accessible
-breaker box is in garage with plenty of space for new breakers
-the run should be within about 50ft or less so 12/2 should be fine.
-I will supply the new outlet only
I need a bid that includes labor AND materials. It's really just the wire, breaker, and outlet box for the majority of material cost anyway..Please put the total cost in the bid.
