Tekla Truss Detailing
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
A simple steel truss that will sit inside a tower needs to be taken from my finished structural plans into a fully detailed Tekla Structures model. I already hold the complete engineering drawings, so the job is purely detailing—no redesign is required. Because the truss is for a tower (not a roof or bridge), member splice locations, bracing and connection bolts have to respect the tighter erection tolerances typical of vertical structures.
What I need from you in Tekla:
• 3-D model of the truss with all connections, plates, bolts and welds entered per my drawings
• General-arrangement and shop drawings ready for fabrication
• Material, bolt and cut lists exported to Excel
• NC/IFC files for the fabricator
Acceptance criteria
• Geometry, member sizes and connection types match my issued plans exactly
• All drawings are automatically generated from the Tekla model with no manual drafting edits
• Clash check shows zero conflicts, and GA/fab drawings pass my review in a single revision round
