Resort Steel Structure Design

Job ID: 40180239

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m developing a new resort 3000 sqm land size and building 600 sqm and have decided to use a comprehensive steel solution to keep the build light, fast, and durable. The project covers every primary structural element of the complex: full framing and load-bearing supports, all roof and canopy systems, plus the balconies and railings that give each unit its signature view. Because this is technically classified as a residential building, local housing codes still apply, yet the scale and guest-oriented layout introduce commercial-grade wind, live-load, and corrosion considerations that must be treated with the same rigor you would give an industrial facility.

I need architectural floor plans in DWG format and need a qualified steel structure engineer to turn those plans into a complete, code-compliant structural package. You’ll handle the modelling, calculations, and detailing—ideally in software such as Tekla Structures, Revit, or a comparable BIM workflow—then issue shop-ready drawings my fabricator can use straight away. If you prefer STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS for analysis, that’s no problem as long as the final deliverables align with the drawings.

I have the plan floor ready but not DWG set

Deliverables I’m expecting
• Signed-off structural calculations for framing, roof/canopy, balconies, and railings
• 3D BIM model coordinated with architect’s DWG set
• GA, fabrication, and erection drawings in PDF and DWG
• Material and bolt schedules ready for procurement
• A short compliance summary citing all relevant residential codes and any resort-specific loads you addressed

I’d like to review a preliminary framing concept within two weeks, then iterate toward a final issue-for-construction set soon after. If you’ve recently completed steel work on villas, hotels, or other hospitality projects, please send over a brief portfolio note so I can judge fit and hit the ground running.
