Residential Steel Fabrication Drafting
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a complete set of structural steel fabrication drawings for a residential build. You will work from my existing structural plans (supplied in PDF and DWG) and translate them into shop-ready documentation that my fabricator can follow without further clarification.
Scope of work
• Model and detail every beam and column, assigning marks, sizes, member lengths, and plate information.
• Produce clear connection details for all joints, showing welds, bolt sizes, edge distances, and any stiffeners or plates called out in the engineer’s design.
• Coordinate with the provided structural plans so member sizes, reactions, and connection assumptions remain consistent.
Deliverables
1. Fully dimensioned fabrication drawings in PDF and native CAD (DWG or Tekla Structures format).
2. E-plans sheet set that includes general notes, material lists, and clearly labeled part/assembly drawings ready for CNC or manual cutting.
3. A compiled bolt and plate schedule referenced by drawing mark.
Acceptance
Drawings must align with the engineer’s structural design , pass a basic clash check, and be ready for shop approval without redlines.
All dimensions must be as per what is reflected in the architectural drawings provided. This project needed to be completed within 48 hours please do not apply or express interest if you can not deliver to this deadline
