I’m commissioning a forward-looking study that projects how steadily advancing Artificial Intelligence could shape our world half a century from now. The paper must zero in on three intertwined dimensions—economic impact, social change, and environmental effects—so that readers gain a balanced view of both opportunity and risk.
To ground every insight in verifiable evidence, lean primarily on high-quality news articles (think Financial Times, MIT Technology Review, The Verge, The Economist, Wired, mainstream national outlets, etc.). Academic journals or industry white papers may appear as supporting context only when a news source cites or summarises them; the headline references, quotations and statistics should still trace back to reputable journalism published within roughly the past three years.
Because I intend to circulate the finished work among policy and business stakeholders, I need more than a literature dump. Distil complex reporting into clear narratives, spot patterns across regions and industries, and extrapolate realistic scenarios for the 50-year horizon. Visual aids—small charts, timeline call-outs, or infographics—are welcome where they help the argument land quickly, but they’re not mandatory if prose conveys the point elegantly.
Deliverables expected on hand-off:
• A polished 4,000–6,000-word report in Word or Google Docs, organised into introduction, methodology, thematic chapters (economy, society, environment), and a synthesis section with two or three plausible future scenarios.
• Inline citations plus a consolidated reference list formatted in APA or simple footnotes; each entry must include article title, author, publication, date, and working link.
• Optional appendix for any data visualisations (source files in Excel or similar).
Acceptance criteria: every claim must cite at least one news article; projections stay tethered to present-day trends rather than pure speculation; writing remains accessible to a non-technical audience without sacrificing analytical depth.
