IT User Manuals Hindi Translation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Several IT and software user manuals need to move from clear, concise English into equally precise Hindi without losing any technical nuance. The source files arrive as a mix of Word documents and PDFs, roughly 25,000 words in total, and cover installation steps, configuration options, command-line references, and troubleshooting notes common to enterprise software.
I care most about three things:
• Terminology that remains consistent with industry-standard Hindi vocabulary for UI strings, CLI commands, and networking concepts.
• Formatting that mirrors the original layout so screenshots, numbered steps, tables, and code snippets stay aligned.
• A turnaround schedule we agree on up front, with partial deliveries along the way so I can run quick QA checks in our test environment.
Please return each manual in its original file type as well as a clean, editable version (DOCX). Translators who already work in CAT tools such as SDL Trados or memoQ can note that—glossaries will be provided once we start.
I will review pages as they come in, running term-consistency checks and a short in-context read-through. If any segment feels off, I’ll flag it within 24 hours so it can be corrected before moving to final approval.
