I have a Bahasa Malaysia (BM) manual that runs well over 50 pages and I need it translated into precise, natural-sounding English. Accuracy matters: terminology must stay consistent from start to finish, any tables or diagrams should keep their original layout, and safety or compliance notes must be reflected exactly as written.
Scope of work
• Translate the full manual from BM to English, preserving original formatting, headings, bullet points, and numbering.
• Flag any unclear source phrasing for my review rather than guessing.
• Deliver the finished file in both editable Word and print-ready PDF formats.
• Perform one round of light revisions if I spot minor issues once I proof the first draft.
What I’m looking for
– A translator fluent in both BM and English, ideally with prior experience handling lengthy technical or user manuals.
– Familiarity with terminology management tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is a plus, but not mandatory.
– Ability to work to an agreed timeline and keep me updated on progress.
