Technical Report Writing for R&D Tax Relief

We are an exciting innovation consultancy that focus on supporting businesses at the forefront of innovation across the UK. We are experts in providing R&D Tax Relief to a wide range of innovative companies that don’t have the knowledge or capabilities to access the commercial benefits that they could be eligible for.

Our clients work in a wide range of industries; from scientists developing new medical technology to architects working on ground-breaking construction projects. You will be working alongside our clients, reviewing and analysing their latest R&D projects to prepare a technical narrative of their projects.

This opportunity would suit someone who has knowledge and experience of highly technical fields, who is able to extract and understand the technical areas of the R&D activities and narrate them in a written report that meets HMRC requirements and answers their 4 keys questions.

Depending on the project, you may need to obtain raw information from the client and conduct additional research where necessary before writing the reports.

Desired experience and skills:

Experience in a technical field/sector
Curiosity, awareness and an interest in science, technology and innovation
Excellent communication (both spoken and written) and ability to convey complex ideas as simple concepts
Excellent numerical ability and a proven track record of working to tight deadlines
Use of Microsoft Office & Word
