Tech Pack: Boxer Brief Box
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
We are seeking an experienced technical writer to create a detailed specification document for the packaging of our men's boxer brief product. This is NOT a design project - we already have a design. We need someone to translate our existing design into a comprehensive technical specification for suppliers.
Key Requirements:
Develop a detailed technical specification document covering:
Precise dimensions of the cardboard box
Exact material specifications for both box and pouch
Detailed printing requirements (colors, logo placement, typography)
Stackability and storage efficiency specifications
Provide expert consultation on:
Material selection and its impact on cost and production
Construction methods and their practical implications
Cost optimisation strategies for packaging production
Ensure the specification balances our aesthetic requirements with production feasibility and cost-effectiveness
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in technical writing, specifically for packaging specifications
Strong background in working with packaging suppliers
In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production methods
Ability to analyse and advise on the cost implications of different materials and construction methods
Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills
Deliverables:
Comprehensive technical specification document in editable format (e.g., Word, Google Docs)
Brief report on material and construction recommendations, including cost implications
Additional Notes:
This project requires translating an existing design into technical specifications, not creating a new design
Responses that focus on design aspects rather than technical specifications will be ignored
The final document will be shared with suppliers, so clarity and comprehensiveness are crucial

Timeline: we are hoping to have designs to the suppliers in the next two weeks.
