Step-by-Step User Guide
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m looking for a clear, written user guide that walks readers through every step of using my product from first launch to successful completion of its core tasks. The goal is a self-contained, easy-to-follow reference—no video, just a well-structured document that someone with zero prior knowledge can open and follow straight away.
You will receive access to the software, my preliminary notes, and a few screenshots. From there I need you to:
• map out each action in logical order,
• explain what the user should see or do at every point, and
• include brief tips or warnings whenever a common mistake might occur.
I’m picturing a Word or Google Docs file that I can later export to PDF. Clarity of language and a smooth flow are more important than flashy design. Once I can hand the draft to a first-time user and they reach the end without asking follow-up questions, we’re done.
