Rewriting Accounting Audit Report
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a completed report on accounting audit research that now needs to be rewritten rather than merely edited. The original document is sound in terms of facts and citations; what I need is a fresh narrative flow that still preserves all key data, tables, and references while trimming obvious repetition, tightening wording, and generally bringing the language to a clear, professional tone.
Scope
• Keep a “moderate detail” level—this is not a one-page summary, yet it should not drift into deep theoretical expansion.
• Respect the existing structure (headings such as Introduction, Methodology, Findings, Recommendations) so it remains recognisable to my instructor, but improve transitions, paragraph cohesion, and overall readability.
• All numbers, calculations, and cited standards (ISA, IFRS, GAAP, as applicable) must remain accurate and untouched.
Deliverable
• A polished Word document ready to submit, reflecting the same length (±10 % of the current word count) and layout, but with refreshed wording and clearer logic. Track Changes should be on so I can see exactly what was revised.
Acceptance Criteria
1. No new factual content added or removed unless a clear redundancy or contradiction is found and explained in a comment.
2. Terminology specific to auditing and accounting remains precise; general phrasing should become simpler and easier to follow.
3. Consistent citation style (currently APA 7th).
4. Delivered within the agreed time frame, with the file opening cleanly in Microsoft Word 2019.
