Resolve Microsoft 365 DMARC Issues -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My business email is hosted on Microsoft 365, and—even though both SPF and DKIM already pass—messages from our domain still end up in recipients’ spam folders. The evidence points to a DMARC misconfiguration or alignment problem that needs a precise fix rather than a full-scale migration.
What I need from you:
• Audit the existing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup to pinpoint why DMARC alignment fails.
• Draft and, once approved, publish the corrected DMARC TXT record (including rua/ruf reporting addresses if advisable).
• Run validation tests with Outlook headers, MXToolbox, and other industry tools until emails consistently show “pass” for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC and land in the inbox.
• Deliver a concise report summarizing the root cause, the exact DNS changes made, and any future monitoring recommendations.
Acceptance criteria
– Emails sent from Microsoft 365 display pass results for all three controls in their headers.
– Test messages to common providers (Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo) reach the primary inbox, not the spam folder.
– Updated DNS entries and test evidence are documented for my records.
