Redesign, Format & Finalize 360+ Page Quality Management System Manual (Editable A4 Book Format) & Accompanying forms
Project Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented freelancer with experience in document design, formatting, and publishing to redesign and format an existing Quality Management System (QMS). The document is over 360 pages and serves as a working manual that will be printed in A4 book format.
The ideal candidate will:
• Professionally redesign and reformat the existing manual using clean, professional layouts and colour schemes.
• Ensure the design is suitable for both digital use and high-quality print (A4 book format with proper margins, TOC, headers/footers, sections, etc.).
• Edit and style the content for consistency (fonts, spacing, heading structure, table styles, bullet formatting, etc.).
• Create or redesign forms, templates, and annexures attached to the QMS to match the new format and look.
• Deliver the final product in an editable format (preferably MS Word and PDF), enabling us to revise it internally in future without needing to rehire a freelancer.
• Include instructions or a style guide for ongoing updates and edits.
Deliverables:
• Professionally formatted QMS manual (Word and print-ready PDF)
• Consistent use of colour, fonts, page layout, and sections
• Redesigned annexures/forms/templates
• Editable templates for future use
• Style guide or editing notes for future revisions
Skills Required:
• Document formatting (MS Word, Adobe InDesign, or similar)
• Graphic/layout design for professional documentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of document structure and usability (consistent front and alignment)
• Experience working with large technical or procedural documents
Optional:
• Experience with ISO or Quality Management Systems is a plus
