Public Tech Docs Repository Build

Job ID: 40337261

Budget: €12 – €18 EUR

I need a well-structured, traditional document repository set up to hold all of our technical specifications and make them openly accessible. This is not a wiki project; I’m looking for a classic file-based system—think SharePoint, Google Drive with granular permissions removed, a Git-backed docs folder served through static pages, or any comparable platform you recommend—configured so anyone can read without sign-in while edit rights stay internal.

The job covers:

• Designing the folder / collection hierarchy so future specs are easy to locate
• Migrating my existing PDFs, Word files, and diagrams into the new structure, preserving version history where possible
• Implementing full-text search, clean URLs, and a simple way to download single files or entire bundles
• Creating templates for new specs (DOCX or Markdown) and a short contributor guide that explains naming, tagging, and update workflow
• Setting up automated backups plus a change-log we can audit later

Acceptance criteria
1. Repository link loads publicly with no authentication required for view or download.
2. At least ten sample specifications I provide are migrated and searchable.
3. Contributor guide and file templates are stored in the root of the repo.
4. A brief video or live walkthrough shows me how to add, replace, and roll back documents.

If you have hands-on experience architecting document repositories, integrating search, and managing version control, let’s get this shipped quickly.
