Paper term in Computer architecture
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need someone to write. Paper term for any of the following subjects
1- Accelerators: this includes selecting a compute-intensive algorithm, analyzing its
computational requirements, finding the best way to accelerate it, i.e., via pure
software using the existing programmable machines (multicore CPUs, GPUs, or
TPUs), by pure hardware (you need to write some HDL code), or by hardwaresoftware co-design. Then, you need to implement this algorithm to run on the selected
architecture, and evaluate the performance.
architecture, and evaluate the performance.
2. Hardware Security
a. Secure processor design through extending an existing open source RISC-V
based processor core with some security extensions.
b. Side channel attacks, this includes conducting a survey on side channel attacks,
and propose some security counter measures and a threat model.
3. In/Near Memory Computing, e.g., designing a resistive memory – based accelerator
to accelerate some computation kernels, and attach it to an open source RISC-V based
host processor
4. Software Simulators, e.g., developing a C++ based simulator to simulate a processor
with in/near memory accelerator or any other accelerator
The term paper should be done by reading top research papers related to the selected topic
Prof of concepts may be required
Also similarity check will be checked, and solution will be revoked if similarity exceeds 18%
More details later
