Native Spanish Engineering Translator

Job ID: 39895457

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a native-Spanish linguist who can turn complex engineering documents into clear, natural Spanish—and do the same in reverse when required. The material ranges from specifications and user manuals to technical reports. Accuracy is critical, yet every sentence should read as if it were originally written for a Spanish-speaking engineer.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Translation of English↔Spanish engineering documents with precise terminology and a smooth, authentic tone.
• Thorough self-proofreading so the delivered files are publication-ready.
• Consistent formatting that mirrors the source layout (tables, numbered lists, diagrams, captions).
• Openness to flag unclear source text or technical jargon and confirm the meaning with me before finalizing.
• Respect for confidentiality and on-time delivery.

No pre-existing style guide or glossary is mandatory, but if you use CAT tools such as SDL Trados, memoQ, or similar, feel free to leverage them for consistency.

When you reply, please describe your engineering translation experience and typical turnaround time for, say, a 2,000-word manual. Attach a short sample or link to previous work if possible.

I look forward to collaborating with a professional who treats wording, tone, and technical precision with equal care.
