Moral Vision Synopsis
Each student will develop a synopsis of his/her moral vision for the family. The student should identify and describe his/her belief system regarding selected values regarding the ideal family. Each of the student’s positions should also be accompanied by a rationale. Remember the primary question guiding the process is – What is the ideal marriage and family toward which you will guide clients? . The student should address the criteria in the handout, A Christian Moral Vision for the Family. The student should address the following beliefs and a Christian worldview:
1. Couple Vision
a. Commitment
b. Adaptability
c. Authority
d. Communication
e. Composition
2. Family Vision
a. Authority
b. Perspective of Children
c. Fecundity
d. Composition
e. Organizing Focus
Each of the student’s positions should also be accompanied by a rationale. The paper should also be accompanied by a bibliography of no less than 10 sources (not including course materials and texts). :
