I am preparing the technical report required for my Chartered Engineer (CEng) registration with the UK Engineering Council, and the mechanical engineering–specific sections still need refinement. You will work with my existing project data—calculations, design decisions, risk assessments, drawings, and test results—and shape them into a concise 4,000- to 6,000-word section written in precise UK English. The text has to highlight innovation, safety considerations, sustainability, and professional judgment, yet remain accessible to reviewers who may not know every sub-discipline within mechanical engineering.
Please structure the document in Microsoft Word, using track changes so I can see every edit. A clean, publication-ready copy should accompany the marked-up file. Correct technical terminology, ensure logical flow, and insert tables, figures, or references where they add clarity; simple equations may stay in Word or be dropped in via LaTeX if clearer.
Deliverables:
• Revised technical-details-and-analysis section (tracked + clean copy)
• Reference list in either Harvard or IEEE style, matching my existing citations
• One revision after feedback, included in scope
