Legal Sworn Declaration Preparation -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
U.S. based freelancers only.
I need a sworn declaration from a digital forensics or email systems expert for use in a legal arbitration. The Declaration will be used in a California arbitration, so the expert must be located in the United States. Preference for professionals with experience administering Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft 365/Exchange email systems.
The issue concerns production of emails from a law firm that uses Microsoft Outlook. The firm has my client file emails but is resisting producing them in PST format, claiming that doing so could expose other clients’ emails.
The declaration should confirm:
• PST is the standard format used by Microsoft Outlook for storing and exporting email
• Emails can be exported into a PST from a defined set of messages (such as a specific client file or search results)
• Exporting emails to PST preserves chronological order and allows the emails to be searched
• Exporting a defined set of emails to PST does not require exporting unrelated emails
The declaration will be signed by the expert under penalty of perjury and used in a legal dispute.
This should be a short declaration (approximately 1–2 pages) confirming standard Outlook email export practices.
Ideal expert: digital forensic examiner, e-discovery specialist, or IT professional familiar with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange email exports.
