Kubernetes Training Materials for Intermediate Learners
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
As an organisation, we seek an expert in Kubernetes who can comprehensively create a training that includes the following topics:
- Introduction to Kubernetes
- Deploying applications on Kubernetes
- Scaling and managing Kubernetes clusters
This training is intended for learners with an intermediate level of Kubernetes expertise. We are not looking to cover very basic or highly advanced topics, our goal is to take our intermediate knowledge to an advanced level.
The training will be done by a kubernetes expert, we just dont have time to create the material. The audience are support team that have basic understanding of Kubernetes but will be supporting production systems.
The preferred mode of training delivery is documented guides in Powerpoint. Although we value real-time learning methods, we believe that written guidance will best suit our needs at this point. This will allow our trainees to reference the material at their convenience and pace.
In total we need 8 sessions. But we want to proceed with 4 sessions. The duration is 8 sessions, each session is 2-3 hours.
The project is to train internal team about Kubernetes, Kafka and Microservice
Session 1: Introduction to Kubernetes
What is Kubernetes?
Key Kubernetes components (e.g., Pods, Nodes, Services, Deployments)
Kubernetes architecture and concepts (e.g., declarative configuration, self-healing, scaling)
Interacting with Kubernetes (e.g., kubectl, Kubernetes Dashboard)
Monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
Session 2: Kubernetes Operations
Deploying and managing Kubernetes on AWS EKS
Configuring and managing Kubernetes resources (e.g., Pods, Services, Deployments)
Kubernetes state management
Monitoring and Logging for cluster health and troubleshooting
Resource Quotas and Limits to manage resource allocation
Identifying and resolving common Kubernetes issues (e.g., CrashLoopBackOff, ImagePullBackOff, NodeNotReady)
Session 3: Introduction to Kafka
What is Apache Kafka?
Kafka architecture and key concepts (e.g., topics, partitions, brokers, producers, consumers)
Kafka deployment and configuration
Kafka monitoring and troubleshooting
Session 4: Kafka Operations
Deploying and managing Kafka on AWS MSK
Configuring and managing Kafka topics, partitions, and consumers
Kafka performance tuning and optimization
Kafka backup and disaster recovery
